I used to hate the old adage, “Work hard, Play hard”, but it’s the best mantra that I can use to describe my goal for 2018.

Work Hard

I spent the last few months of 2017 laying the foundations and working to update this blog and get my freelance business off the ground. Now that both sites are up and running, I want to spend my days being disciplined, dedicated and working harder than I’ve ever worked before. I have big dreams for both and am so excited to see how far I can run with them.

Play Hard

On the flip side, I don’t want to look back at the end of 2018 and realize I never went outside. So, I want to balance out my hard work with a lot of play. This year, I want to:

  • Travel to five new countries and cities;
  • Revisit an old favourite or two;
  • Explore more of Stockholm and Sweden;
  • Read 24 books and start knitting again; and,
  • Spend the year eating amazing and interesting foods (I may be watching too much Master Chef Australia).

I have big plans, goals and dreams, and I am so excited to get this year started! Here’s to another wonderful year of travel, adventures, good times and awesome memories.

What are your goals for 2018?
