You might remember, back in October when we were looking for an apartment in Madrid, I was pretty much all-consumed with the search. And, given the lack of responses or viewing opportunities, I was becoming really frustrated. To try and get me away from the computer and out of my mini-funk, Dave suggested that we take a trip out to Toledo, a town just 30 minutes by rapid train from Madrid.
We decided that one of the best ways to see Toledo was to jump on the hop-on, hop-off bus tour (maybe Dave thought it was a great idea, or maybe he went on it to make me feel better, who knows! Either way, I got to indulge in my not-so-secret, dorky travel love). And, it turned out to be the best decision ever as the trip took us to an un-climbable on foot spot where we had the most amazing view of the city. Continue reading “Travel Diary: Toledo”
