As with every year before it and, most likely, every year to come, 2017 was a year of ups and downs. Continue reading “Petite Adventures YEAR in Review: 2017”
For months, I looked forward to our vacation in Croatia. It would be our reward for hard work, long hours, and for surviving our first British winter. For weeks I longed for it, planned for it and dreamed about it, and now, here we are, already a week into June and almost two weeks since we returned. Visit five stops and cover more than 430 kilometres in just eight days. It can be done. Oh yes, it can be done.
This week, after far too many days, weeks and months spent NOT exploring, we’re off on an adventure! For the next few days, we’ll be basking in the sun, exploring the land and staring out at the sea in Croatia.

It’s also the oldest continuously inhabited city in Croatia, dating back to the late-Stone Age, and just last year it was voted European Best Destination.
Let’s take a look at what’s in store for our time in Zadar.
